Mark has practiced as an Electrical Engineer serving the mechanical dynamics industry for 40+ years.

He served as architect, implementer, and has led the sales, training & service of several generations of multi-channel dynamic signal analyzers and condition monitoring systems.  He has been instrumental in advancing Modal Shop’s smart sensing solutions including, but not limited to, the Portable Vibration Calibrator platform, USB Accelerometer, TEDS technology, NDT Resonant Inspection Systems, Dynamic Calibration products, and the SmartShaker and SmartAmp series.

He currently serves on IEEE 1451, ISO/TC 108, and ASTM E07 standards bodies.  He presents calibration and dynamic instrumentation topics at conferences and seminars on a global basis.

As Senior Technical Fellow, Mark serves in a global interface capacity between Sales, Marketing, Service, Support and Engineering and leads the TMS charge to global market leadership in Vibration Sensor Calibration,  Resonant Acoustic Method Non-Destructive Testing and Smart Sensing Solutions industries through vision, perseverance, and industry presence and knowledge.  As a result, TMS International Sales have increased from less than 15% to approximately 45% of total company sales to date.

Professional interests include Instrumentation, Sensors, Signal Processing, Dynamic Smart Sensing Systems, Calibration, Standards, and Process Vibration Analysis Instrumentation.  Personal Interests include UP Michigan Outdoors, Fishing, Hunting, and Snowmobiling.
